About Helen Carson

Helen Carson

I live in southern California with my husband but I grew up in Wisconsin with its four distinct seasons and an artist mother. Both contributed to my love of all things beautiful and inspired my creativity in many ways. Over the years I have dabbled at music, stained glass, needlework, interior design, altered art, mixed media and jewelry design. My love of photography began when I got my first Nikon in 1989. Since then I have been dubbed the official family photographer, but primarily love fine art photography. Although I did not inherit my mother's painting and drawing abilities I strive for an impressionistic, painterly quality in my work, which is enhanced at times by choosing to use canvas to print a photo on. I hope you...
