About Helen Carson
I live in southern California with my husband but I grew up in Wisconsin with its four distinct seasons and an artist mother. Both contributed to my love of all things beautiful and inspired my creativity in many ways. Over the years I have dabbled at music, stained glass, needlework, interior design, altered art, mixed media and jewelry design. My love of photography began when I got my first Nikon in 1989. Since then I have been dubbed the official family photographer, but primarily love fine art photography. Although I did not inherit my mother's painting and drawing abilities I strive for an impressionistic, painterly quality in my work, which is enhanced at times by choosing to use canvas to print a photo on. I hope you...

Helen, what a glorious photograph, so electric it is almost vibrating! Thank you for your comments on my "Duet" painting and "Such a Spaniel" painting. They are two of my favorites. I love painting dogs so much. Hope you saw the Cocker too. Your little Cocker is adorable. Aren't they just the BEST! Susan
Helen Carson replied:
Thank you Susan. Always fun to have a sale and yes, cockers are THE BEST! :-)
