About Helen Carson
I live in southern California with my husband but I grew up in Wisconsin with its four distinct seasons and an artist mother. Both contributed to my love of all things beautiful and inspired my creativity in many ways. Over the years I have dabbled at music, stained glass, needlework, interior design, altered art, mixed media and jewelry design. My love of photography began when I got my first Nikon in 1989. Since then I have been dubbed the official family photographer, but primarily love fine art photography. Although I did not inherit my mother's painting and drawing abilities I strive for an impressionistic, painterly quality in my work, which is enhanced at times by choosing to use canvas to print a photo on. I hope you...

This is so pretty, so happy you entered it into the comment contest, it has such a pretty glow.
Helen Carson replied:
Thank you Rosalie. This was growing in my sister's garden in Washington, and was just so beautiful and luminescent.

What a gorgeous capture, Helen! Love the effect which makes the flowers standing out more, and the contrast too. Great work, thank you for sharing!!!

This is lovely, Helen. There almost appears to be a light shining out of the center of the one flower in the fore. The dew drops are nice as well. I have just started growing my first clematis so am sure it will be quite some time before I can take any photos of it.
